From Mar. 7 to 9, 2026, the Vietnam Festival Osaka 2026 took place vibrantly in Osaka, attracting the Vietnamese and global communities in the area. This was considered one of the largest Vietnamese cultural festivals in Japan, providing a meaningful space for cultural exchange between the two countries.
Smiles – the biggest sponsor supporting the community
Smiles Mobile Remittance, the event’s biggest sponsor, partnered with major businesses such as Vietnam Airlines, FPT, and AIDEM, playing a crucial role in the festival’s success.

Large-scale event with major organizations
The Vietnam Festival Osaka is organized by the Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka, Chairman of the Executive Board of the event.
The program also received support from many important agencies: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Japan Immigration Bureau, Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, the Japan-ASEAN Center and the Asia-Japan Community Cultural Cooperation Organization.
The collaboration between agencies from both countries has resulted in a successful Vietnamese cultural festival.
Sharing Vietnamese music and culture in Osaka
This year’s festival was further enlivened by the participation of renowned artists: Lam Bao Ngoc, JSOL and Hoang Duyen. Their emotional performances and engaging interactions attracted a large audience. A series of hit songs were performed, including Huong Tinh Than, Sao Hang A, Ngao Ngo and more.
Smiles focuses on community-building
The event has come to an end, but the beautiful moments will remain in the hearts of everyone who attended.
