On Dec. 28, 2025, the spirit of competition and community was on full display at the Smiles Gold Cup 2025 in Chiba, Japan. Organized by Panauti 11 Football Club and sponsored by Smiles Mobile Remittance, the tournament has officially solidified its place as one of the most significant Nepali sporting events of the year.
The tournament saw an incredible turnout, featuring high-level play from over 35 teams. More than 200 visitors joined the festivities to cheer on their favorite players and celebrate Nepali culture through sport.
