Digital Wallet Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Eiji Miyakawa; hereinafter "Digital Wallet") is pleased to announce that its group company, Digital Wallet Solutions Corporation (hereinafter "Digital Wallet Solutions"), which develops and provides the mobile order system "KOTORI," will fully introduce the system at "Vietnam Festival 2026," one of the largest cultural exchange events in Japan, to be held at Yoyogi Park on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2026. This introduction is made in our capacity as a joint operational partner with the Vietnam Festival 2026 Executive Committee.

At this event, "KOTORI" will be available at approximately 30 booths, focusing primarily on participating food and beverage vendors. By eliminating the "long lines" that have traditionally been a major challenge for outdoor events, both parties will realize a "smart festival operation" that enhances visitor convenience and supports sales growth for the exhibiting booths.

■ Background of Introduction: Keeping the Festival Excitement, Reducing Wait Time to "Zero"

In large-scale outdoor festivals that attract over 100,000 visitors every year, congestion caused by long lines at popular stalls (especially food and beverage booths) has been a major challenge, leading to decreased visitor satisfaction and lost opportunities (withheld purchases).

To solve this issue, the Executive Committee and our company decided to introduce "KOTORI," which allows users to instantly order and pay through their smartphone's web browser without the need to download a dedicated app. For this event, the system will be introduced at approximately 30 booths, centering on the food and beverage stalls in the gourmet area, providing a "highly navigable event environment" where everyone can enjoy a wide variety of Vietnamese gourmet food without stress.

*This system allows users to complete payments using credit cards or Apple Pay from their own smartphones. Conventional payment methods at the venue (such as cash) can also be used alongside the system, including at the targeted booths.

■ Three Innovations "KOTORI" Brings to the Event

  1. Enhancing Experience Value by Eliminating Wait Lines
Visitors can check the menu from KOTORI and place orders on the spot. They are free to enjoy stage performances or browse other booths until they receive a notification that their food preparation is complete.

  2. Improving Operational Efficiency and Reducing Labor Costs
By digitizing order intake and checkout, stall staff can focus entirely on "cooking" and "serving products." This reduces mistakes during peak hours and significantly improves turnover rates.

  3. Maximizing Purchasing Opportunities Through Data Utilization
By grasping the real-time order status, it becomes possible to optimize inventory management and staff allocation. Furthermore, encouraging visitors to browse multiple stalls helps boost the overall consumption of the entire event.
