Japan/Canada – Digital Wallet’s Smiles Indonesia Team hosted the Warung Kita Smiles Cup, a futsal event in Yokohama, Japan. They also supported Dulur Majalengka Japan’s (DMJ) Third Anniversary Event on Aug. 14, 2022, in Shizuoka, Japan. On Aug. 15, 2022, Smiles Indonesia supported another event, Saburai Japan 2nd Anniversary, in Osaka, Japan.
At the Warung Kita Smiles Cup Event, trainees from all over the Kanto and Tohoku Regions competed for a trophy and cash reward. This was an opportunity for Smiles Indonesia to gather the Indonesian community and strengthen their relationship with them.
DMJ’s Third Anniversary Event celebrated its third year as an organization and a right community mainly comprised of people from Majalengka, Indonesia. Live music was performed and many of the attendees danced to the beats bringing everyone closer together.
Similar to the DMJ’s event, Smiles Indonesia supported Saburai Japan’s Second Anniversary Event on Aug. 15, which encouraged the Lampung community to celebrate also with dancing and live music.
On the other side of the world, Digital Wallet Canada and its Smiles Canada Philippines Team supported the Mabuhay Philippines Festival (24th anniversary) at the Toronto City Hall Grounds on Aug. 13 and 14.
Organized by the Philippine Independence Day Council, the festival celebrated the best of the Filipino-Canadian culture (event video here) by showing off its many talents in the art of music, dance, theatre, fashion and more. This was another outstanding opportunity for Smiles Canada to create and maintain relationships with customers and the Filipino-Canadian community.
Summer is gradually coming to an end, but the heat for Smiles Mobile Remittance to create meaningful relationships with communities around the world still continues.
