Tokyo, Japan – On July 22 and 23, 2023, Digital Wallet Corporation’s Smiles Mobile Remittance Nepal Team attended the 13th Nepal Festival Tokyo held at Nakano Shikino Mori Park. With an estimated 10,000 visitors, the event served as an outstanding platform for the team to engage with valued customers and showcase their most popular global money transfer service in Japan.
Hosted by Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Japan, the Nepal Festival aimed to promote Nepal and its rich cultural heritage in the heart of Japanese society. As a key participant, Smiles Nepal took advantage of the opportunity to interact with customers, old and new, and leave a lasting impact on the festival’s diverse audience.
Throughout the festival, the Smiles booth became a hub of activity, welcoming a continuous stream of visitors eager to know more about the service’s offerings. The team’s friendly and knowledgeable representatives were on hand to address inquiries and provide personalized assistance to every individual. There were also games at the booth where participants had the chance to win Smiles Points or Smiles merchandise.
In addition to booths showcasing a variety of services catered to the global community in Japan, the festival provided an immersive cultural experience. Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy the taste of typical Nepalese foods, the Nepalese cultural dance performances, and they were even treated to an unforgettable musical performance by renowned Nepali singer, Deepak Bajracharya.
The Nepal Festival in Nakano presented an ideal opportunity for the Smiles Mobile Remittance Nepal Team to showcase their commitment to the Nepali community and beyond, as this is the second year that the team has participated in the event. Their participation supported the service’s dedication to providing efficient and accessible financial services to the international community.
