Nagoya, Japan – As Japan is welcoming more foreigners to work and live in the country, Digital Wallet Corporation’s most popular mobile money transfer service in Japan, Smiles Mobile Remittance, is back on its feet to reconnect with international communities. On April 12, 2023, Smiles Philippines Team traveled to Aichi Prefecture in Nagoya to meet with the Filipino trainee community who are just starting their lives in Japan.
Smiles sparked relationships and interacted with almost 100 trainees to share how the remittance service can help them support their loved ones back home in the Philippines.
The team also shared knowledge in financial literacy, showing the participants how to properly save money for themselves and their families.
As more OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) move to Japan, Smiles Philippines OFW community grows. The Smiles team members shared customer stories and their personal stories as OFWs to inspire and motivate the newcomers.
Smiles aspires to spread happiness and maintain peace among international communities by guiding foreigners to a new life in Japan and creating meaningful relationships with them.
The next Aichi visit will be on Apr. 29 and Apr. 30, 2023 where the Smiles Philippine Team will join the International Friendship Day at Toyota Stadium together with the Indonesian Team. Stay tuned on the fan page for more details to come.
